Brief:
Design an exhibition space with a narrative revolving around certain artefacts related to WW1; a collection gathered by the clients and enthusiasts for a temporary exhibition.

The narrative is 'The Weaponization of Sports Equipment'. An example is the 'Gauntlet Dagger'; located in the Imperial War Museum, London. This artefact created by the anglo-french is essentially a boxing glove with a handled knife through the face of the accessory. In battle, the glove helped in close combat by punching and piercing the enemy.

The design of the space focuses on 'access for all' idea. Openings on the lower floor and lift availability allow people of all abilities to access both levels with ease. The Openings now also create a new circulation through the exhibit.
Location: Remembrance Centre, Hilsea, Portsmouth
